Ben Trowbridge
Ben Trowbridge is founder and CEO of Alsbridge, Inc., a Dallas-based consulting firm that focuses on outsourcing strategies, network procurement, and benchmarking. Established by Ben Trowbridge in 2002 as The Trowbridge Group, Alsbridge merged with London-based ALS Consulting in 2005. Alsbridge was recently designated as one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing companies in America, and in 2011 the firm was named #1 Outsourcing Adviser by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).
Ben Trowbridge and Alsbridge have a proven reputation for achieving results, evaluating individual companies’ needs to provide customized, intelligent consulting. Trowbridge heads a team of more than 150 sourcing advisers, each of whom possesses an average of 20 years’ experience in the industry. Under Trowbridge’s direction, Alsbridge has helped hundreds of companies worldwide reduce costs and choose vendors more effectively, providing business solutions in the fields of information technology, human resources, finance and accounting, and customer relations.
Prior to founding Alsbridge, Trowbridge served as the Chairman and CEO of United Messaging, where he led a successful overhaul of the company’s cost structure. Previously, Trowbridge held several executive positions at Ernst and Young. In the roles of Managing Partner for Outsourcing Services Business and COO of the company’s Global Outsourcing Business, he directed several of the largest outsourcing relationships in the firm’s history, with contracts totaling more than $4 billion.
In addition to his successful business ventures, Ben Trowbridge actively supports Passion for Children, a non-profit that organizes various annual events, including family-friendly races and cycling events, to raise funds for the Dallas and Legacy campuses of the Children’s Medical Center. In his free time, he enjoys working out, reading, and traveling.
